"DEXTRIN-Y" is a yellow dextrin, which finds its use in various applications as below:
Foundries and refectories, Adhesives/ corrugated boxes, Dyes and inks, Paper and textile tubes/cones.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DEXTRIN-Y is a partially hydrolyzed starch that is prepared by heating or dry roasting starch in a very controlled manner, in presence of an acid catalyst.
Dextrinization chemically reduces the larger (starch) molecules into smaller (dextrin) components. Controlled processing of dextrins gives them varying physical properties required for various applications. Dextrin film has greater elasticity and strength than mere starch film of equal thickness. DEXTRIN -Y produces high solid pastes that are very tacky dry rapidly. DEXTRIN-Y is characterized by their high water solubilities and distinct yellow
colour.

HANDLING, STORAGE
& SAMPLING
Please take
following care during handling, storage and sampling :
- Do not use hooks, drag
the bags on truck or any other platform.
- Bags should be stored on platforms, cleaned with hot air blower and kept covered with clean piece of tarpaulin. Also ensure that the storage area is dry, covered, away from humid and hazardous conditions.
