INTRODUCTION DURAFINISH-PD100 is a polyethylene wax powder for soft and smooth feel for cotton and synthetic fabrics. It imparts shining and suppleness to fabric. It is a pure product without any cheaper paraffin wax. It also improves tear strength and sewability. In combination with synthetic resins it is normally used for 100 % cotton & polyester/cotton blends, a very rich & unique feel is obtained. It is from the house having unrivaled experience in the field of manufacturing and supplying One Shot Size Mix SURESIZE and SURESIZE-H as well as other speciality chemicals for Textile Industry. BROAD TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Appearance : Light Yellow Powder Nature : Non-ionic Constitution : Polyethylene wax pH of 1 % paste : 7 Compatibility : With cationic, anionic, non-ionic, mild acids & alkalis. PREPARATION OF READY SOFTENER FROM 100 % CONCENTRATE Take 90 Kgs. boiling water and start stirring. Sprinkle 10 Kg. PD100 powder and continue stirring and heating till powder is fully dispersed. Cool down to get stable smooth emulsion. Soft water is required for dilution. SUGGESTED LEVEL OF USE For Cotton : 10 - 40 gpl in finishing baths For Synthetics : 15 - 50 gpl in finishing baths However, depending on type of finish required & quality of fabric, the above concentrations may vary.
