INTRODUCTION
"MEDISTAR" is a pharmaceutical grade Maize (Corn) Starch, developed by the people having the unrivalled experience in the field of manufacturing and supplying high quality modified starches to the paper and food industries. Unlike some other starches available in the market, MEDISTAR is free of ethylene oxide, which has been reported as a carcinogen compound. MEDISTAR finds its most common application as:
- tablet binder / caking agent
- disintegrating agent in dispersible tablets
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
MEDISTAR is produced and packed in extremely hygienic condition to make it suitable for human consumption. Each batch is tested to ensure it meets the required standards. Extra care is taken in its packing and transportation to ensure that the product is not contaminated during packing/storage and transportation.
Granules of MEDISTAR, when subjected to high compression force of a tabletting machine, partially fuse together. Tablets such produced are strong enough to resist breakage during transportation and at the same time retain its disintegrating properties after ingestion.
