INTRODUCTION SURESTER-MA100 is a very powerful non-cresylic mercerizing agent for cotton fabrics and yarn. It is from the house having unrivaled experience in the field of manufacturing and supplying One Shot Size Mix SURESIZE and SURESIZE-H as well as other speciality chemicals for Textile Industry. BROAD TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Nature : Anionic Appearance : Creamish brown semi solid Constitution : Based on 2-ethyl hexanol pH of 1 % solution : 3 - 4 Stability : Very stable to caustic liquor of mercerizing strength (upto 30 °Bc) Solid Content : 96 + 2 % (by oven method) RECIPE Take 70 Kgs. hot water 60 °C. Add to this 30 Kgs. of SURESTER-MA100. Stir & dissolve the concentrate fully in hot water. You now have your ready to use mercerizing agent with acidic pH. If required, pH can be neutralized to 7 by adding very little quantity of caustic soda solution. It is non-cresylic type. APPLICATION Wetting agent during mercerization of cotton yarn and fabrics and its blend. SUGGESTED LEVEL We recommend a dose of 0.3 - 1.0 % of our ready SURESTER-MA100 on the weight of caustic liquor of mercerizing strength (48 °TW - 54 °TW) depending on the type of fabric used.
